Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor project engineering schedule and budget, and support PM with integrating customer/partner and GE Vernova engineering deliverables into overall project schedule while managing report outs on project status.
  • Develop and manage project technical strategy to mitigate risk.
  • Provide technical support for installation, start-up and commissioning activities.
  • Create clear, accurate technical proposals for aeroderivative CM&Us, ensuring fit with unit configuration, customer needs, GE Vernova design standards, and quoting limits.
  • Track industry, technology, and regulatory trends to shape new offerings; present at user conferences and technical reviews. Collaborate with suppliers on new technologies, systems, and components.
  • Support site surveys and develop practical sales tools (standards, handbooks, one-pagers) to improve responsiveness.
  • Lead technical execution for electrical scope on CM&U projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, product cost, and reliability.
  • Support a cross-functional program to develop, standardize, publish, and maintain CM&U handbooks and standard technical write-ups for upgrades.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university
  • 1 yr. experience with electrical systems for aeroderivative gas turbine packaging
  • In-depth knowledge of Aeroderivative products
  • Experience leading projects involving multi-disciplinary teams located globally
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide and influence others
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization
  • Ability to successfully work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Standards applicable to aeroderivative gas turbine Packages
  • Knowledge of codes, standards, and grid interconnection requirements relevant to aeroderivative packages

Compensation

  • For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00.
