About the role
- This role is primarily responsible for the handling of incoming and outgoing mail, return mail, as well as preparation for our scanning operations by our vendor.
- As assigned, track s incoming mail, return mail, correspondence, checks, etc., and processes incoming / outgoing overnight packages
- Review s, sort s, and prepare s incoming mail to be forwarded for imaging
Responsibilities

- As an Associate in the mailroom, this position also requires performing administrative and clerical duties inherent in the mail handling process and providing operational and customer support regarding these processes.
- One (1) year of related operations, support, or mailroom experience highly desirable
Requirements
- Must be able to work under pressure along with solid time management and problem-solving skills
- Keyboarding proficiency
- Familiarity with Windows based computer applications
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Ability to compose simple correspondence
- Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with essential job functions
- Ability to multi-task is essential
- Must be able to complete work within required timeframes
- Ability to work under pressure; flexibility and willingness to work at a rapid pace
- Must problem solve in an effective and efficient manner
- Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- One (1) year of credit card or banking industry experience is a plus
- Experience working with computers is required

- Offered rates of pay are determined based on job-related knowledge, relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position, if located in NY Metro/NY state is $17.00 to $22.00 hourly.
