About the role

  • This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based mental health services while maintaining compliance with state regulations, organizational policies, and best clinical practices.
  • Review, approve, and provide feedback on clinical documentation, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure clinical services are delivered using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation on complex cases and support ethical decision-making.
  • Monitor clinician performance and support professional development.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment.
  • Support clinicians in clinical formulation and diagnostic clarity.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, ethical standards, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
  • The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision, consultation, and clinical guidance, and may maintain a limited caseload as assigned.
  • This position collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and organizational leadership to support effective, client-centered care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active, unrestricted state licensure as an LISW or LPCC (required).
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical therapy, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5, evidence-based practices, and ethical standards.
  • Meets state requirements to provide clinical supervision.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience providing clinical supervision.
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, or evidence-based modalities.
