About the role
- This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based mental health services while maintaining compliance with state regulations, organizational policies, and best clinical practices.
- Review, approve, and provide feedback on clinical documentation, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure clinical services are delivered using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultation on complex cases and support ethical decision-making.
- Monitor clinician performance and support professional development.
- Create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment.
- Support clinicians in clinical formulation and diagnostic clarity.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, ethical standards, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
- The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision, consultation, and clinical guidance, and may maintain a limited caseload as assigned.
- This position collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and organizational leadership to support effective, client-centered care.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active, unrestricted state licensure as an LISW or LPCC (required).
- Demonstrated experience in clinical therapy, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5, evidence-based practices, and ethical standards.
- Meets state requirements to provide clinical supervision.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Nice to have
- Prior experience providing clinical supervision.
- Specialized training in trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, or evidence-based modalities.
