About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-floor manufacturing support for cryogenic systems integration
  • Support introduction of new cryogenic products by crafting manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists
  • Closely manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of cryogenic hardware throughout the manufacturing process
  • Define and support repair and rework activities for cryogenic fluid systems
  • Perform root cause analyses when non-conformances and escapes are identified and deploy corrective actions
  • Develop processes compliant with industry quality systems such as AS9100, with special attention to cryogenic safety protocols
  • Conduct design for manufacturability reviews with emphasis on cryogenic performance requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing of fluid systems, including knowledge of GD&T

Nice to have

  • Experience with design, development or production of cryogenic fluid systems (LOX, LH2, LNG)
  • Familiarity with cryogenic testing, safety protocols, and quality control
  • Customer focused with a proven track record to work cooperatively with teams of different skills across large geographic distances
  • Climb stairs and work in small areas
  • Lift and carry 40 lbs.

Compensation

  • Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
