About the role

  • Midtown Athletic Club is searching for a dynamic, high-energy Arena Instructor to join our world-class fitness team.
  • Arena is one of Midtown's most challenging and rewarding studio experiences-a 45-minute, high-intensity workout that combines treadmill intervals, strength training, and performance coaching in an immersive boutique fitness environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-energy, results-driven Arena classes that challenge and inspire.
  • Create an immersive experience through music, movement, motivation, and performance.
  • Develop your own playlists and use musicality to elevate the energy of the room.
  • Build relationships and foster a loyal community that creates a "yearn to return" culture.
  • Deliver a consistent, safe, and exceptional member experience.

Requirements

  • CPR/AED Certification (or ability to obtain before hire).
  • Ability to coach large groups while maintaining safety, energy, and engagement.
  • Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Instructor or Personal Training Certification.
  • Previous group fitness coaching experience preferred.
