About the role
- The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service is seeking a full-time Health Technician (Audiology) for the VA Medical Center in Charleston South Carolina.
- Individuals must hold a full, current and unrestricted license or registration to practice as a HIS in a state, territory, commonwealth or the District of Columbia. (1) Loss of Licensure or Registration.
- Failure to obtain board certification during the two-year period may result in termination of employment. (3) Loss of Certification.
Requirements
- English Language Proficiency: In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
- Successful completion of two academic years above high school leading to an associate degree or a bachelor's degree with at least 12 semester hours in courses related to the position.
