About the role

Overview Legacy Medical Group Neurology is seeking a full-time, outpatient Epileptologist to join our growing neurology team.
Legacy Neurology operates four clinic locations throughout the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area, all located in Portland or within 20 minutes of downtown.
This position is based at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in NW Portland and focuses on providing outpatient consultation and ongoing management for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions.

BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Assocation minimally required (ACLS may substitute for BLS).

Fellowship training in epilepsy is preferred
The incoming physician will join a collaborative group of 9 outpatient neurologists (including one current epileptologist), 4 clinic-based APPs, and 10 neurohospitalists.
Our department offers robust subspecialty programs in autoimmune neurology/MS, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular medicine, neuro-ophthalmology, and vascular neurology.
The epilepsy program includes a 4-bed EMU and a comprehensive epilepsy surgery service.

Qualifications Graduate of a four-year accredited U.S. Medical School or the equivalent.
Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff.
