Responsibilities

  • Own daily cash positioning and liquidity monitoring across company accounts.
  • Maintain company's cash flow forecasts in collaboration with finance and operating teams.
  • Support funding and repayment decisions under the company's credit revolver by identifying upcoming cash needs, timing considerations, and potential liquidity risks.
  • Independently coordinate the issuance, amendment, renewal, and termination of letters of credit and bonds with external banking partners.
  • Maintain complete ownership of LC and bond tracking, including remaining facility capacity, cost of security, and forecasting future costs.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with the company's banking partners, serving as the primary operational point of contact.
  • Reporting & Management Support
  • Prepare and maintain concise, decision-useful treasury reporting for management, including cash balances, liquidity metrics, debt, and LC/bond exposure.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support business decisions, audits, and senior management requests.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required
  • Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
  • This role is office-based with limited travel required.
  • Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background investigation and may be subject to drug tests as a condition of employment.
  • Strong understanding of cash management, cash forecasting, letters of credit, and bonds.

  • This position requires a self-starter who is comfortable owning day-to-day treasury operations while partnering directly with internal stakeholders and external banks.
  • The role combines execution, analysis, and process improvement, with meaningful visibility to leadership and direct interaction with the CFO while reporting to the VP of Financial Operations.
  • This role will be based out of our Chicago, IL office and is subject to our Company's return-to-office policy which currently requires a minimum of three days a week in the office.
  • Cash Management & Forecasting
  • Reconcile forecasted cash flows to actual results, investigate variances, and proactively communicate impacts to treasury and finance leadership.

Compensation

  • $90,000 - $100,000
  • This pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
  • Jupiter Power considers a number of factors when determining starting compensation such as the position requirements and the candidate's qualifications.
  • In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus and equity programs.
