About the role
- Lead Electrical Design Engineer – Power & Control Systems Location: Henrico, VA Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: Starts at $90,000.00 (Higher Depending on Experience) Position Summary: The Lead Electrical Design Engineer – Power & Control Systems designs and supports industrial power distribution and control systems, including electrical schematics, wiring
- diagrams, and system documentation. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant engineering solutions while supporting manufacturing, project execution, and continuous system improvement.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering or power systems design
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with industrial control components including relays, breakers, contactors, and metering devices
- Proficiency using AutoCAD Electrical (current version)
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring practices, integration methods, and equipment layout
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with electromechanical systems and integrated equipment
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens PLC experience preferred)
