About the role
- The Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator II, with the working title of Admissions Counselor will report to the Associate Director of Admissions.
- This Admissions Counselor will focus on the recruitment of first year students.
- All duties shall be executed while demonstrating a commitment to access, belonging, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to establish relationships with organizations, groups, and individuals that can influence prospective students.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify prospective students and encourage them to apply for admission.
- Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
- Coordinate and implement a personalized recruitment program involving high school visits, phone calls, correspondence and campus visits.
- Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
- Maintain and Manage Tracking System of Prospective Students
- Maintain appropriate records to monitor recruitment, tracking students from inquiry to enrollment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (degree must be posted by start date)
- Ability to lift and transport materials up to 35 lbs.
- Extensive auto travel is required year-round, especially during the fall and spring recruitment seasons, primarily in the Midwest.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

Nice to have
- Strong organizational and event planning skills.
- Ability to use and learn multiple computer technologies (such as Peoplesoft, ImageNow, Microsoft Office)
- Experience working with students from various backgrounds.
Compensation
- $46,000 / year
