About the role
- Spire Solutions is hiring a Project Engineer to join our team at a data center project site in Council Hill, OK!
- The Project Engineer will be responsible for several functions throughout the duration of a project including preconstruction, planning, buyout, management, and closeout.
- This role actively monitors project status and informs the project team of any issues that may impact the project schedule and/or budget.
Responsibilities
- Organize, review, update, maintain, and post construction documents/drawings
- Collaborate with project team to complete requests for information (RFI)
- Review submittals and other project documents for accuracy against plans and specifications
- Maintain and distribute accurate project logs
Requirements
- The Company is a drug and alcohol-free workplace and background checks are required if applicable.
Nice to have
- Previous experience either in a project engineer role, internship in the construction industry, or structural steelwork experience is required
- Experience with data center construction is a plus
Skills
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Flexibility to balance competing needs
- Ability to build positive relationships across the organization
- Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Procore is a plus
- Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
- Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to be a full-time traveler for the company and work on assigned job site for the duration of the project(s).
- A relocation package will be provided.
- Willing to be located on the job site in Council Hill, OK for 2+ years
