About the role
- Summary The primary responsibility of the Machine Operator is to operate machinery in the fabrication shop and to ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced according to established protocols.

Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and stoop for 8+ hours.
Nice to have
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced according to established protocols
- cross-trained on multiple machines as applicable
- Inspect slabs for defects and ensure cuts are accurate
- Polish and cut stone and edges to specifications
- Apply increasing knowledge of materials and stone characteristics to ensure quality output
- Support workflow and production schedules as required
- Provide guidance or mentoring to other operators as applicable
- technical degree preferred
