About the role
- The Odeko team is diverse, passionate, and innovative.
- You will be responsible for working on and repairing coffee equipment including espresso machines, water filtration systems, and other associated equipment.
- The work will primarily consist of driving throughout New England conducting emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installation.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations
- Maintain a log of all found issues
- Maintain part inventory levels in company-provided service vehicle
- May perform other duties as assigned
- Drive to customer locations to troubleshoot and repair coffee equipment on site
Requirements
- Proficiency with tools, machinery, electricity, and plumbing required
- Desire to share knowledge and ability to teach others
- Must have a valid and current driver's license issued within the United States, no major violations in the past 3 years, and be able to drive a company vehicle.
- Must be able to read, write & understand/speak English
- Reliable, accountable, and professional demeanor under high pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills
- Carry and transport up to 60 lbs repetitively, participate in physical activity moving equipment around and working in tight spaces, sit or stand for extended periods
- Successful working independently with little supervision and effectively collaborate with our team
- Basic computer software experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Availability to occasionally work weekends and work on call hours
- Availability to occasionally work longer than the standard eight hour shift
Nice to have
- Ability to reach schematics is preferred
- Previous coffee industry/mechanical experience preferred
Compensation
- $23.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE
