About the role

  • Apply knowledge of HP HR practices and appropriate provincial employment legislation to ensure compliance with ever evolving employment laws
  • Including but not limited to attendance and/or performance management.
  • Engage in local Employee Health & Safety initiatives

Responsibilities

  • It provides HR support and implements programs across multiple businesses, functions, and regions.
  • Be a trusted advisor to managers and employees to resolve conflict, address challenges and employee development, and maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Partner with HR team and business leaders to proactively address challenges and opportunities that impact employee experience and productivity. Including but not limited to attendance and/or performance management.
  • Consults with managers on employment standards leaves and other HR programs in place to support employees through different career and life stages
  • Support the planning and delivery of Career Navigator and Rewards Planning milestones with assigned client groups/ business partners
  • Provides a full range of HR support and policy / program implementation activities at a country level.
  • Partner with HR team and business leaders to proactively address challenges and opportunities that impact employee experience and productivity.
  • Implements human resources programs to meet geography, business, and functional needs.
  • Delivers programs and policies developed globally that are specialized for local or regional requirements (i.e. 'Canadianize' policies and programs to ensure adherence to local requirements)
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs

Requirements

  • University degree in related field (i.e. business, human resources, psychology)
  • Proven ability to take initiative and/or be responsive and proactive in all aspects of Human Resources
  • In order to satisfy our contractual obligations with clients, the successful candidate will be required to pass a basic, standard Criminal Records check.
  • You will also be required to sign off on HP's Confidentiality, Non-Solicitation and Conflict of Interest Agreement.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $68,950 to $85,000 annually.
  • Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills, and internal equity.
