About the role
- We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to join our team.
- This role requires a strong mix of mechanical, electrical, and system integration expertise and a proven track record of rapidly prototyping complex systems and advancing them to the next stage of production.
- Our philosophy is to get things built/tested in days or weeks, not months.
Responsibilities
- Design and iterate on machines, subsystems, test fixtures, inspection tools, and sensors
- Lead system integration efforts, testing, and cross-team coordination
- Develop electrical designs, including PCB design, wiring, power electronics, and sensor integration
- Execute mechanical design of frames, components, and assemblies, with a focus on practical application rather than deep theoretical analysis
- Rapidly prototype, build, and test new designs
- Write light software and firmware to support system operation
- Electromechanical system design and analysis
Requirements
- 3 years of experience designing and building electromechanical systems for real-world applications
- Required Experience
- Mechanical design and CAD proficiency

- Experience with metrology and sensor technologies
- Motion system selection and control
- Optical components and system integration
