Responsibilities
- Manages all Divisional Underwriting for AIG's South region, with national scope for Oil & Petrochemicals (Downstream), and North America scope for the Upstream line. Establishes, implements, and evaluates production and profitability goals.
- Responsible for developing strategic client and broker relationships.
- In partnership with the Global Product Line Executives for O&P and Upstream, drive and execute the long-term business strategy for the US.
Skills
- Talent assessment and development for bench strength and succession planning.
- Proven collaborative leadership skills.
- Strong influencing and communications skills and ability to work across multiple areas of company and industries.
- External thought leadership.
- Broad based insurance industry experience
- Preferred minimum of 15+ years of insurance operational management experience
- Knowledge of Energy market segmentation, portfolio management, acquisition and distribution
