About the role
- Job Description Summary Note: This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds - flexibility and collaboration.
- In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
- This role involves coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining application software, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop new code or reuse existing code as recommended.
- Lead projects, coordinate efforts, and monitor performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor's: Computer Engineering, High School (HS) (Required)
- Computer Engineering, High School (HS) (Required)
Nice to have
- More than five (5) years of relevant development or engineering experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in the brokerage industry or back-office brokerage accounting is beneficial.
Skills
- Experience with HPNS COBOL85, SQL/MX, MP, Pathway servers, and HPNS/Tandem Guardian OS.
- Familiarity with brokerage and clearing business/industry preferred.
- Knowledge of New Accounts opening and account transfers processes a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, and various collaboration tools (e.g., email, Zoom, Teams).
- Ability to analyze data, communicate effectively, choose appropriate actions, and remain current with technical and professional skills.
