Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will maintain electrical controls and associated equipment at water plants and tanks.

Requirements

  • May be required to perform "stand-by duty", being available and responding to off-duty emergency call-ins to effect repairs to malfunctioning electrical, electronic and/or instrument systems.
  • Performs related work as required.
  • Accrued based on years of experience and calculated on hours worked

Nice to have

  • Electrician Journeyman License or Certification in Electronics is preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience with instrumentation and controls.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Good reading, math, writing, and verbal communication skills
  • a good scientific and mechanical aptitude
  • and the ability to read, interpret, and record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels, and other equipment.
  • Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees.
