About the role
- This role will provide guidance on risk and control assessments, risk appetite, KRIs, audit and self identified issues, incident management, control monitoring and remediation, and new product initiatives.

- Supporting the implementation and operation of our enterprise risk framework, with a particular focus on Operational risks, including embedding of the risk and control self assessment process, and issues management.
- Define the key risks inherent in end to end business processes, and coordinate the mapping and documentation of controls.
- Promoting and helping embed a proactive risk culture, making risk meaningful and relevant to everyone at Wise.
- You have worked in the financial services, ideally a broker dealer or investment management / advisory firm, or in a fintech.
- Proven experience in broker‑dealer (FINRA/SEC) end to end investment services and operations is a definite plus.
- You are comfortable with data analysis and data-driven problem solving and solutionising.
- SQL, Looker and Superset experience is a definite plus.
- You have experience in enterprise and / or operational risk management, inherent and residual risk assessment, and risk reporting.
