About the role
- Job Description: Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is seeking a GIS Analyst in Midland, TX, reporting to the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geoscience, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- experience with enterprise geodatabases
- Hands-on experience with oil and gas infrastructure datasets including pipelines, facilities, and production assets
- Working knowledge of TX811/NM811 submittal processes and pipeline regulatory frameworks (PHMSA, DOT)
Nice to have
- Experience integrating GIS with enterprise data systems such as Databricks, Master Well Headers, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with PHMSA/DOT compliance documentation and T4 or CI-D/CI-X submittal processes
- Exposure to data analytics, dashboard development (Power BI, Spotfire, or similar), or spatial tool development
- GISP certification or active pursuit of certification
- Knowledge of Permian Basin operations and West Texas/Southeast New Mexico regulatory landscape
