About the role

  • SLB is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Drill Bits Sales Representative to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities to grow revenue and market share within the drill bits product line.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for growing market share and revenue by developing strong relationships with drilling contractors, operators, and key stakeholders across Western Canada.
  • You will promote SLB's SmithBits portfolio, identify new business opportunities, and deliver technical and commercial insights that support customer objectives.
  • The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships that drive business growth.
  • Roles and Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers through regular visits, technical discussions, and account reviews.
  • Create and execute account plans aligned with customer objectives and business growth targets.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product Line teams to deliver effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor offerings to identify business opportunities and support pricing and commercial strategies.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management principles and sales planning processes.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
