About the role
- Serve as the site subject matter expert for environmental, health, and safety matters.
- Chair and actively participate in site Safety Committee meetings.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with OSHA compliance, incident investigation, and regulatory audits.
- OSHA safety certification required.
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- automotive experience preferred. Demonstrated experience with OSHA compliance, incident investigation, and regulatory audits.
- Certifications
- OSHA safety certification required. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar professional credential preferred.

Nice to have

Compensation
- Manage workers' compensation claims in coordination with Human Resources, including reporting, follow-up, and return‑to‑work or light‑duty assignments.
