Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a highly technical, fast-paced Equipment Maintenance Team
  • Create a strategy for Corrective, Preventative, and Predictive Maintenance in support of BMCD Manufacturing Operations
  • Create a paradigm for tracking relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. safety, cost, task completion time, etc.) and have this information available to key stakeholders (i.e. dashboards)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in facilities/maintenance management/building operations maintenance with at least 3 years of hands on supervisory/leadership experience.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in required areas (safety glasses, safety-toed boots).
  • Advise on new equipment required to enable business growth

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Computer Programming and PLC experience (preferred)

Skills

  • Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and based in Newark, DE.
  • High school diploma or equivalency required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Hands on practical knowledge of the technical aspects production and facilities equipment
  • In depth knowledge of systems, tools, and procedures utilized in equipment maintenance
  • Computer systems knowledge including proficiency with MS Office programs
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to learn and use maintenance computer software to initiate and track work orders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization and with those outside the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated leadership acumen
