About the role

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for planning daily and weekly workloads to achieve branch objectives in sales, customer service, route delivery, inventory and volume control.
The Operations Supervisor ensures staff achieve seamless processing of outgoing shipments and incoming items and is responsible to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
Inventory management and vendor relations with shipping companies are essential functions for this position.

Collaborate with the Branch Manager to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.

Minimum 3 years experience with increasing levels of responsibility in management or supervisory role in warehouse, manufacturing or distribution.
Working experience in shipping and receiving.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to weigh and measure items.
Working knowledge of safe packing and wrapping methods.
Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift.
