Responsibilities
- Operate Waste Collection Vehicles: o Safely drive and operate smaller solid waste collection vehicles such as side loaders, rear loaders, or pickup trucks. o Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. o Safely load, transport, and unload waste materials, adhering to all company and regulatory safety protocols.

Requirements
- o Maintain accurate records of work performed, including route logs, vehicle maintenance reports, and any incidents that occur during the route. o Complete and submit all required paperwork at the end of each shift.

- KEY COMPETENCIES Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in waste collection.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in the field.
- Requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- PHYSICAL, DRIVING, TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects 60 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving and operate a vehicle for long hours.
