About the role
- As a Community Porter at Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, in Avondale, AZ FLATZ 623 site, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall appearance of the apartment community.
- This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a well-maintained environment, enjoys working independently, and thrives in an outdoor, hands-on role.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance team with minor tasks, including changing bulbs, unclogging drains, and assisting with event setups.
- Maintain and properly store tools and supplies to ensure readiness and safety.
- Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support community operations.

- Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including completing maintenance tasks, inspections, and general property upkeep.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and landscaping practices.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- You may not know our name, but you know our products.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial services, or general maintenance preferred.
