About the role
- Access Limited brings over a century of steep-slope expertise and operates North America's largest fleet of spider excavators, delivering complex rockfall and geotechnical solutions in the most challenging environments.
- This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in concrete sculpting and coloring, working with concrete to produce intricate, durable, and aesthetically appealing wall features for commercial projects.
- You will be responsible for shaping, coloring, texturing, and finishing concrete to meet high standards of quality and precision while adhering to project timelines and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Design and create sculpted concrete (shotcrete) walls, ensuring accuracy, technical specifications and artistic expression.
- Color, sculpt, carve, and texture concrete surfaces with precision to meet design specifications.
- Train and support less experienced sculptor crew and other employees with sculpting and ensure their continued training and skill development in the field.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with crew members, project managers, warehouse, engineers, and other team members to coordinate sculpting activities.
- A chance to help build a robust, multi-million dollar in-house concrete sculpting business.
Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate machinery, tools, computers, telephones, and keyboards.
- Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds regularly.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high and hearing protection is often required.
- Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- MUST have the ability to travel extensively on a rotating schedule, typically consisting of 2 - 5 weeks working / travelling, 1 week off.
- 3-8 years of experience performing complex, high-volume concrete sculpting, coloring and texturing, preferably in a commercial or public environment.

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software preferred
- $30-55/hour plus overtime depending on your level of experience in production sculpting
- A yearly performance bonus of 10% of your annual compensation
- proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
