- As an Analyst in Investment Banking Coverage, you will join a team with a strong track record and play a key role in expanding Santander's energy practice.
Responsibilities
- Support deal execution, including preparing pitch books, client presentations, and transaction materials
- Perform detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analysis
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate across internal teams and client counterparties
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support origination and client strategy
- Engage directly with senior bankers and clients, contributing to live transactions and developing strategic insights

Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, STEM, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of Investment banking experience or 1-3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, accounting/audit, or within the energy or infrastructure sector
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and valuation
- High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 63, Series 79) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, STEM, or a related field - Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to contribute to team building and culture
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and investment banking products, with energy experience preferred

- The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Compensation
- $110,000.00 USD Maximum:
- $135,000.00 USD
