About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-throughput REST APIs, orchestrating automated ETL workflows, and optimizing heavy relational database layers to ensure seamless data movement across our enterprise systems.
Nice-to-Have: • Experience working within the hospitality technology or Point of Sale (POS) analytics verticals. • Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools (Application Insights) and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).

Serverless Compute: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, event-driven microservices using Azure Functions (utilizing HttpTriggers for real-time API traffic and TimerTriggers for scheduled orchestrations).
Database & ETL Engineering: Build and optimize complex data flows via ETL pipelines. Write high-performance SQL, design relational schemas, and develop robust stored procedures to handle critical business logic at the data layer.
API Development: Develop, secure, and maintain scalable, production-grade REST APIs using C# /.NET.
System Scalability: Monitor, tune, and optimize backend applications to ensure high availability, low latency, and efficient resource utilization under heavy transactional loads.
C# /.NET: 4+ years of professional backend development experience building decoupled, maintainable enterprise services.
Data Integration: Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating disparate systems via robust RESTful web services.
Performance Mindset: Understanding of concurrency, caching strategies, and data serialization techniques necessary for building scalable services.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, event-driven microservices using Azure Functions (utilizing HttpTriggers for real-time API traffic and TimerTriggers for scheduled orchestrations).
Develop, secure, and maintain scalable, production-grade REST APIs using C# /.NET.

Strong proficiency in relational databases with deep expertise writing complex queries, tuning indexes, and authoring/debugging stored procedures.
