Responsibilities
- preliminary design through detailed scope development,
- developing heat and material balances,
- Developing operating procedures.
- Provide construction support and participate in PSSR's, commissioning and start-up.
- Provide support to manufacturing sites assisting with troubleshooting process issues based on experience and expertise.
- Develop into a Subject Matter Expert for selected technology(ies).

Requirements
- Proficiency in process engineering principles and methods.
- Ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of plant and corporate personnel.
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent computerized inventory management software.
- A proven team player capable of working in a multi-discipline team environment with a desire to share knowledge.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to effectively transfer technical expertise to less experienced professionals.
- Ability to travel as required to support assignments.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts as needed.
- Experience in Chlor-Alkali technologies.
- Experience in Caustic Evaporating Concentration process.

- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with a minimum of 10 years functional experience or plant (production) engineering preferred. Experience in chlor-alkali, brine treatment, caustic processes preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access).
- Self-starter with a strong desire to deliver superior results.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
- Managerial Courage - be willing to take a stand on issues that may not be popular and not be afraid to take action when necessary.
- Ability to travel as required to support assignments. Travel is estimated at 25% on a yearly basis with the majority of travel being one to five day trips to plant sites and engineering offices.

- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with a minimum of 10 years functional experience or plant (production) engineering preferred.
- Experience in chlor-alkali, brine treatment, caustic processes preferred.
- Familiarity with process engineering software packages such as Aspen is a plus.
