About the role

- 2-3 years of Public Accounting. someone having 3-10 years experience only. looking for only locals and who are eligible to take a full time position with our client.
Responsibilities
- Manage all monthly closing functions in accordance with company timeline
- Manage G/L Accounting
- Review monthly close work, support to ensure accuracy of the close process
- Maintain a solid understanding of ERP system as it relates to G/L & A/P
- Take the lead on various special projects as they arise.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
- Two to four years accounting experience, two + years public accounting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley required
- Thorough understanding of all phases of Accounting
- Good computer skills using MS Office, particularly Excel including pivot table and v-lookups
- Solid analytical and research skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- High level of technical, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively resolve issues
- Must use sound judgement and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Able to handle multiple priorities and set and meet deadlines.
