About the role

This role is accountable for defining and executing a comprehensive global product safety and regulatory compliance strategy aligned with Peloton's long-term growth objectives.
This position reports directly to the VP, Global Quality and Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance.
Serve as the senior technical authority and escalation leader for product safety investigations, incidents, and member-impacting events in close partnership with cross-functional teams

Lead the Product Investigation Council, ensuring timely, rigorous, and data-driven decision-making
Partner with Quality, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Experience leaders to ensure end-to-end product safety and compliance across the full product lifecycle
Establish governance frameworks to monitor product safety risks, define corrective actions, and lead technical investigations
Build and sustain a closed-loop problem-solving system emphasizing root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Drive continuous improvement by identifying systemic product, process, and organizational improvement opportunities
Coordinate and deploy resources to support escalations, investigations, and remediation efforts

Strong expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D and similar tools
