About the role
- The Associate Merchant, Bath role is responsible for delighting Quince's growing customer base by expanding and managing the Bath product assortment on Quince.

Responsibilities
- Own the Bath assortment strategy, ensuring the category delivers on Quince's promise of exceptional quality at accessible prices
- Partner closely with Sourcing to identify and develop new products, with a focus on performance, sustainability, and the highest quality materials and craftsmanship
- Collaborate with marketing, site, and creative teams to ensure compelling product launches and storytelling that reflect brand positioning
- Lead cross-functional collaboration, serving as the category expert and advocate for the customer
- Serve as a strong communicator and cross-functional partner in driving category success

Requirements
- Required: (Provide a bullet point list of the qualifications that are necessary for someone to fill this position).
- 5-8 years of retail merchandising experience in the bath textiles category, preferably with luxury expertise
- Proven track record of progressing within an organization and demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilities
- Product obsessed with experience in leveraging data tools and external sources
- Role is based in San Francisco California, with 3 days per week in office requirement.
- Critical eye to anticipate customer needs (both the "science" and "art" of retail merchandising)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and brand enhancement
- Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Motivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where flexibility to stretch into or out of functional comfort zones is crucial for team success
Nice to have
- E-commerce experience and/or DTC experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Compensation
- $120,000 - $130,000 USD
