About the role
- Closes known gaps in classic search that users notice and add friction to our experience.
- Shape the next generation of conversational search within our AI experiences.
- You'll be expected to understand how ranking, relevance, and personalization actually work in order to figure out how to evolve them.
Responsibilities
- Write clear requirements, partner with design to shape the experience, and work alongside engineers to ship and iterate quickly.
- Own a set of search and engagement metrics, design A/B tests that answer real questions, and use the results to guide what ships and what gets cut.
- You watch real users search, you read the support tickets, and you build for what people actually do.
- We go above and beyond to give you the support you need on an individual level and offer all sorts of ways to help you live your best life.
- We're looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to own Search across both Redfin's classic search and conversational AI on web and apps.
- You'll set the strategy for how buyers discover homes on Redfin, lead a cross-functional team to ship it, and dig deep into the relevance, ranking, and personalization systems that decide which home a user sees first.
- You'll partner closely with design, engineering, applied ML, and the Conversational AI team to make search the place buyers start their journey and the place they keep coming back to.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms.
