About the role
- Our client is seeking to fill a Consumer Loan Underwriter - Indirect Lending role in the Edwardsville, IL area.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and processing loan applications from car dealers of the Indirect Program and making the determination to approve or deny indirect loans within authorized limits.

Responsibilities
- Ensures documents are complete and accurate according to policies and compliance regulations.
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Two years of similar or related experience in the lending environment Knowledge of lending software and data processing systems.
- Knowledge of legislation, regulation, policies, and procedures pertaining to lending practices.
