About the role

  • mpathic is seeking experienced physicians to help evaluate and improve the next generation of AI systems used in healthcare.
  • This is a contract, project-based opportunity to influence cutting-edge AI development while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, researchers, and AI experts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with mpathic's research team through onboarding, calibration sessions, and ongoing quality discussions to ensure consistent, high-quality evaluations.

Requirements

  • You are one of the following:
  • If you have applied for an expert role within the past 12 months, you do not need to reapply.
  • We're looking for clinicians who are passionate about advancing the safe and responsible use of AI in healthcare.
  • Attending Physician: Board certified with a current, active, unrestricted medical license.
  • Resident Physician: In your final year of residency or a recent graduate who is board eligible.
  • Fellow: Board certified or board eligible in your primary specialty with a current, active, unrestricted medical license.
  • You bring strong clinical judgment, clear written communication skills, and an interest in shaping the next generation of AI systems through expert human evaluation. Experience with medical education, research, quality improvement, or clinical guideline development is a plus, but not required.

Compensation

  • This is a contract, project-based position. The hourly rate will depend on experience and project parameters. The rate will be disclosed prior to starting the project.
