About the role

This strategic role encompasses project management, team leadership, client-facing technical consultation and close collaboration with other departments to fulfill the company's data needs and business goals.
Strategic Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and success of complex data engineering projects.
Hands-on Technical Oversight: Ensure the architecture and ongoing health of data pipelines, databases, and storage solutions, maintaining data integrity, scalability, efficiency, and availability.

Manage and mentor data engineers, setting clear goals and expectations, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Collaborate with cross-departmental team members to understand their data requirements and deliver timely solutions.

At least 5 years of proven experience in data engineering, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Proven customer-facing experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Employee(s) will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and perform any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments.

Experience with computer programming, particularly in PHP, is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Master's preferred.
