About the role
- The Dental Equipment Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on dental equipment across multiple dental offices.
- The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to work independently while supporting multiple practice locations.
- Duties and Responsibilities: Install, test, and commission new dental equipment, including dental chairs, delivery systems, lights, compressors, vacuum systems, sterilizers, X-ray units, sensors, and imaging equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Maintain service logs, maintenance records, and repair documentation.
- Maintain an organized inventory of replacement parts, tools, and supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Ability to prioritize multiple service requests and work independently.

Nice to have
- Technical certification or vocational training in electronics, biomedical equipment, mechanical systems, or related field preferred.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
