- Commissioned Security Officers provide for the security of patients, visitors, staff and property at Methodist Health System facilities.

Requirements
- ☒ Required to report to work

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be physically capable of standing and walking for long periods.
- Must be physically capable of using lawful and appropriate physical skills and abilities to defend themselves and others from unlawful aggression or resistance.
- Officers must be capable of using lawful and reasonable force, when necessary, to defend themselves and others.
- Successful officers must be able to multi-task and respond promptly and efficiently to calls for service and to address incidents that require security intervention.
Nice to have
- Texas Class C driver's license and insurable prior to hire
- Texas Private Security Board Level II certification required upon hiring
- Texas Private Security Board Level III (Commissioned, Armed) Security Officer required within 60 days of hire
- CPR certification within 60 days
- Taser certification within 60 days.
- Must be able to successfully complete a thorough psychological evaluation.
Skills
- Security-related work experience is preferred
