- APEX is a leader in the fire sprinkler supply and fabrication.
- This role is responsible for reviewing fire protection system drawings, performing material take-offs, preparing fabrication lists, and supporting project execution from the pre-construction stage through fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work with design team and office staff
- Create legible material lists and fabrication cut sheets
- Fabrication & Production Support
- Support the preparation and maintenance of fabrication documentation.
- Collaborate with Sprinkler Designers, Estimators, Project Managers, Purchasing personnel, and Field Supervisors.
- Assist with procurement planning by identifying long-lead materials and specialty items.
- Support project handoff meetings and ongoing project coordination activities.
- Maintain organized project documentation and records.
Requirements
- University degree or College Diploma in Engineering an asset.
- Must be able to read and understand building blueprints.
- Knowledge in the fire sprinkler industry & codes an asset
