Analyzing student work and formative assessment data to support instructional decision-making and responsiveness to learner outcomes
Create or customize professional development experiences, as needed
The Instructional Coach may be asked to support the Amplify PD team on department-wide initiatives on days that South Western City leaders have off when Amplify is open for business (i.e. teacher work days, holidays, winter and summer breaks, school cancellations, etc.).
This support will vary but may include designing and/or delivering PD through the summer to other districts.
In this role, you will collaborate with district/school leadership and the Amplify STEM Professional Development Strategist assigned to the district/school to determine the strategy, focus, and coaching approach for different times of the year.
You will also partner with district/school leadership to adjust course, as needed, with an eye toward improving student outcomes.

Experience leading sustained coaching engagements and professional development for educators in K-5 or 6-8
5+ years of K-5 or 6-8 Math teaching experience, leading to demonstrable results for students
Experience working on collaborative projects with leaders and teachers
Experience in guiding teams of educators through change management processes
Experience analyzing data and using it to inform practice
Proven efficacy in time management while managing multiple engagements and competing priorities
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of technology-based productivity tools, mainly Google Applications
Local travel is required and considered an essential job function.

Knowledge of Amplify Desmos Math or experience teaching or supporting Desmos Math
10+ years of K-5 or 6-8 teaching and leadership experience, leading to demonstrable results for students

Providing recommendations to school leadership designed to enhance outcomes and equity of learning for diverse student populations, including students with learning and thinking differences and English Learners
