Responsibilities

  • Evaluates operational processes and work with area management to implement improvements.
  • Leads and/or supports regular compliance reviews and risk assessments.
  • Provides support to other departments in the development of monitoring tools and protocols when requested.

Requirements

  • License /Certification
  • Preferred: Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
  • Education
  • Required: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in health care, accounting, business or in a closely related field.
  • Experience
  • Required: Minimum of four years' experience in the field of healthcare compliance, patient privacy, HR, Finance, or Revenue Cycle.
  • Preferred: Three years management experience and background in the field of healthcare compliance, patient privacy, Finance, or Revenue Cycle.
  • Essential
  • Leads and/or supports internal compliance investigations and audits throughout the Kaweah Health, including compiling detailed reports with recommendations to the Compliance Officer, Management, Executive Leadership, and the Board of Directors.
  • Develops compliance and privacy training materials and performs ongoing compliance training throughout the Kaweah Health.

Compensation

  • Assists the Kaweah Health Compliance Officer with the development and implementation of the Annual Compliance Plan and the ongoing assessment of compliance risk mitigation strategies and issues.
  • Assists the external Auditors as needed during the annual Financial Statement Audit.
