About the role

  • We are seeing an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all phases of case workups including pre-litigation and litigation.
  • This is a full-time position that will be onsite in one of our main office locations.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, appellate documents and legal memoranda.
  • E-file court documents in both state and federal courts.
  • Prepare discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses.
  • Organize, maintain and manage indexes for pleadings, discovery, exhibits, evidence, briefs and appendices.
  • Support attorney with all requests.
  • Provide support in case settlements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Personal Injury
  • Proficiency in legal software and legal databases (Litify, eCourts, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards.
  • Relevant understanding of legal research methodologies.
  • Compensation Range:
  • $70,000 - $80,000 USD
  • Compensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to
  • prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.

Nice to have

  • Relevant certifications or licenses related to paralegal studies preferred.

Skills

  • Successful candidates will be proficient in legal software, have excellent communication skills and have a knack for time management.
