About the role
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.
- Process and record overhead accounts payable transactions, ensuring invoices are coded accurately and paid timely.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to month-end and year-end close activities.
Responsibilities
- Record and maintain revenue transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare wire requests and support cash management activities.
- Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed.
- Partner with departments across the organization to ensure accurate financial information and timely resolution of accounting issues.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
Nice to have
- 1-3 years of general accounting experience.
- Experience in construction, real estate, homebuilding, or project-based accounting environments.
- Familiarity with ERP and accounting software systems.
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals.
- CPA or CPA-track candidate preferred but not required.
- Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting support.
