About the role

Responsibilities
- Exemplify and drive adoption of best practices in the areas of system design, performance, and testing
- Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-team to build products that holistically meet user needs
- Partner to build and adapt engineering systems and solutions that will accelerate the team's engineering velocity

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- In depth knowledge of Python, Go, PHP, Java or a similar general purpose language
- Strong understanding of web servers, API design frameworks, and data modeling
