About the role

  • The Traffic Control Flagger is responsible for maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow within and around work zones.
  • This role involves directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, setting up and maintaining traffic control devices, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour - Full-Time Schedule: Significant overtime opportunities available, particularly during the peak season from March through October.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and attention to detail Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capable of standing for extended periods Safety-focused with a commitment to following procedures
  • Must be 21 years of age or older Must possess a valid, clean driver's license Able to work outdoors with the AZ heat Ability to travel extensively to job sites throughout Arizona and outside the state as needed.

Skills

  • Willingness to stay overnight for up to a week at a time, occasionally up to two weeks.
  • Clean driver's license (3-5 years, no violations) Must successfully complete a flagging course.
  • Traffic control experience is a plus
