About the role
- Lastly, this role is the "point" safety professional for the Chattanooga locations regarding Safety Orientations and Safety Documentation Management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a regular safety audit schedule for the Chattanooga facilities.
- Maintain safety documentation for new hires and existing Zeco associates.
- Implement safety programs and orientations related to technical services.
Requirements
- Required: 1-3 years of experience of safety management in an industrial setting
- Be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments/facility needs.
- Required: High school diploma or GED
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, Safety Engineering, or a related degree
- 3+ years of experience of safety management and assisting ISO programs in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in OSHA regulations required for "General Industry." OSHA 501 certification highly preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, with previous experience conducting internal and external audits.
- Monitor the status of workers compensation claims to ensure timely follow up and closing of all claims in the technical services group.
- Provide reporting information to the Zeco management team to assist in Risk Management efforts.
- Ability to travel to other Zeco facilities outside of Chattanooga
- Work with government agencies such as the EPA and OSHA during investigation to ensure the company is complying with all requirements.

- Have strong computer skills with high attention to detail.
- Assist with ISO 9001 documentation and internal databases. Conduct safety trainings as necessary with operations and IPT teams.
