About the role
- Join the Festival Foods Team as a Part-Time Deli Clerk!
- Job Title: Deli Clerk (Part Time) Reports To: Deli Manager Are you passionate about food service and enjoy providing customers (we call them guests!) with delicious meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
- We are seeking a Deli Clerk to join our team in our retail grocery store environment, where you'll play a crucial role in food preparation and guest service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish all deli products on display to ensure high standards.
- Maintain proper inventory levels in the deli storage, including containers, lids, spoons, tags, and more.
- Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to all safety standards.
Requirements

- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.

- Food Knowledge: Knowledge of the retail food business, perishable department operations, and merchandising skills, with the ability to make timely and effective decisions.

- The Deli Clerk is a position with a flexible work schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
