Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding, training, and provide guidance on day-to-day support to team members.
- Support the Import Manager in maintaining team performance standards and morale
- Oversee and provide support on key account shipments to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant Ocean and Air Export in the freight forwarding space.
- Minimum 1-3 years supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Nice to have
- High School diploma or GED required
- experience in freight forwarding business a plus.
- Must have strong understanding of US Export Compliance.
- Cargowise (C1) experience is a preferred.
- Knowledge of procedures for international and domestic freight, trucking and warehouse services.
Skills
- Identify operational issues and support effective, timely solutions.
- Utilize reporting methods to quantify and prioritize workload
- Work closely with the Export Manager and internal stakeholders on KPIs, performance metrics, and process improvements.
- Audit department files regularly to ensure accuracy and completion.
- Assist in maintaining branch TSA compliance requirements for air shipments.
- Perform other duties or assigned projects as needed.
