About the role

- This position allows for 80% remote work, with an on-site requirement of one day per week at either our Chantilly, VA office or a customer site in Woodbridge, VA.
Responsibilities
- Develop software to support how digital evidence is collected, managed, and analyzed.
- Improve system performance by building tools that integrate and automate data processes.
- Document your work to ensure systems work smoothly and can scale for future needs.
- Build custom tools to support advanced investigative workflows.
- Provide technical advice to support ongoing forensic and investigative work.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Hands-on programming experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
- Experience working with Java Spring framework..
- Knowledge of working with relational databases like PostgreSQL Experience with CI/CD and code management tools like GitLab or Github Good problem-solving skills and ability to align technical work with business needs.
- You will be required to pass a high-risk public trust background investigation.
